Calendario festivo y actos de culto en Carmona: una reflexión acerca de las fiestas en la modernidad

The article offers a tour around the annual festive cycle of Carmona (Seville), with special emphasis on the cult acts and religiousness. The data, result of the direct observation, have been supported by other historical in nature which provides a diachronic overview of the major festivals in this city. This will enables an overall analysis of the most recent transformations of the festive fact in a population that can serve as a model for the Low Andalusia. Pursuing this goal in this article are described the organizing agents and the degrees of participation from different sectors of the community, are detected the influence of dominant models and different processes of festive revitalization. Finally, the information provided allows a reflection about the consequences of modernity in the festive fact.El artículo ofrece un recorrido por el ciclo anual festivo de Carmona (Sevilla), con especial énfasis en los actos de culto y en la religiosidad. Los datos, fruto de la observación directa, han sido apoyados con otros de carácter histórico lo que proporciona un panorama diacrónico de las principales fiestas de esta ciudad. Esto posibilitará un análisis general de las transformaciones más recientes del hecho festivo en una población que puede funcionar como modelo para la Baja Andalucía. Buscando este objetivo en el artículo se describen los agentes organizadores y los grados de participación de los diferentes sectores de la comunidad, se detecta la influencia de modelos dominantes y diferentes procesos de revitalización festiva. Estudio de un manuscrito inédito de la Biblioteca Capitular y Colombina de Sevilla, fechado en 1743, en el que se abordan los orígenes del conjunto palatino de los Reales Alcázares sevillanos y se traza una descripción del circuito defensivo de la ciudad. The T309G MDM2 gene polymorphism is a novel risk factor for proliferative vitreoretinopathy

This is an open-access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License.-- et al.Proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) is still the major cause of failure in retinal detachment (RD) surgery. It is believed that down-regulation in the p53 pathway could be an important key in PVR pathogenesis. The purpose was to evaluate the impact of T309G MDM2 polymorphism (rs2279744) in PVR. Distribution of T309G MDM2 genotypes among European subjects undergoing RD surgery was evaluated. Proportions of genotypes between subsamples from different countries were analyzed. Also, a genetic interaction between rs2279744 in MDM2 and rs1042522 in p53 gene was analyzed. Significant differences were observed comparing MDM2 genotype frequencies at position 309 of intron 1 between cases (GG: 21.6%, TG: 54.5%, TT: 23.8%) and controls (GG: 7.3%, TG: 43.9%, TT: 48.7%). The proportions of genotypes between sub-samples from different countries showed a significant difference. Distribution of GG genotype revealed differences in Spain (35.1-53.0)/(22.6-32.9), Portugal (39.0-74.4)/(21.4-38.9), Netherlands (40.6-66.3)/(25.3-38.8) and UK (37.5-62.4)/(23.3-34.2). The OR of G carriers in the global sample was 5.9 (95% CI: 3.2 to 11.2). The OR of G carriers from Spain and Portugal was 5.4 (95% CI: 2.2-12.7), whereas in the UK and the Netherlands was 7.3 (95% CI: 2.8-19.1). Results indicate that the G allele of rs2279744 is associated with a higher risk of developing PVR in patients undergoing a RD surgery. Impact of laser attacks on the switching behavior of RRAM devices

The ubiquitous use of critical and private data in electronic format requires reliable and secure embedded systems for IoT devices. In this context, RRAMs (Resistive Random Access Memories) arises as a promising alternative to replace current memory technologies. However, their suitability for this kind of application, where the integrity of the data is crucial, is still under study. Among the different typology of attacks to recover information of secret data, laser attack is one of the most common due to its simplicity. Some preliminary works have already addressed the influence of laser tests on RRAM devices. Nevertheless, the results are not conclusive since different responses have been reported depending on the circuit under testing and the features of the test. In this paper, we have conducted laser tests on individual RRAM devices. For the set of experiments conducted, the devices did not show faulty behaviors. These results contribute to the characterization of RRAMs and, together with the rest of related works, are expected to pave the way for the development of suitable countermeasures against external attacks.Postprint (published version

Análisis de las ventas empleando redes complejas: comunidades y centralidad de productos

Using measures of centrality and item grouping (communities), purchase ordering is shown, and the importance of each product is quantified. Sales are ordered by forming ‘communities’ around the cell phone chips. DISEÑO DE UN MÉTODO DE EVALUACIÓN PARA LÍNEAS DE PRODUCCIÓN EN SERIE A TRAVÉS DE CONCEPTOS DE LÍNEAS DE ESPERA, REGRESIÓN Y SIMULACIÓN (DESIGN OF AN EVALUATION METHOD FOR SERIAL PRODUCTION LINES THROUGH CONCEPTS OF QUEUING SYSTEM, REGRESSION AND SIMULATION)

Resumen El estudio de la capacidad de producción se realiza a través de métodos de evaluación, que pueden ser de tipo analíticos o de simulación. A pesar de que estos son eficientes, pueden presentar dificultades al ser aplicados. Por lo que, el objetivo de este trabajo es diseñar un método de evaluación para líneas de producción en serie a través de conceptos de líneas de espera y simulación aprovechando las ventajas analíticas y de simulación. Este deberá calcular la capacidad de producción con precisión para que, posteriormente, las organizaciones tomen las decisiones adecuadas para la optimización de sus sistemas. La construcción y simulación del modelo representativo del sistema de producción se realizará a través del software Arena. De igual manera, se utilizó Minitab y Excel para el análisis de los datos. Abstract The study of production capacity is carried out through evaluation methods, which may be analytical or simulation. Although efficient, they can be difficult to apply. Therefore, the objective of this work is to design an evaluation method for serial production lines through queuing systems, simulation and regression concepts taking into consideration the advantages of each of the approaches. It will have to calculate production capacity precisely so that organizations can then make the right decisions for the optimization of their systems. The construction and simulation of the representative model of the production system will be carried out through the Arena software. Similarly, Minitab and Excel were used for data analysis.
